Greg Dierkers has two decades of experience leading multi-million-dollar federal programs and driving state-level initiatives across clean energy policy and grid planning. Most recently, Greg served as Director of Stakeholder Engagement at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), where he developed partnerships with industry leaders, state and local governments, and non-profits. His tenure at the DOE also included leadership roles and project management experience within the State and Community Energy Program and the State Energy Program. Prior to his federal service, he served as a Program Director at the National Governors Association, overseeing programs on energy, critical infrastructure, and transportation. Greg holds a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Bowling Green State University.
